Vikki Tsoukalas

Vikki is a registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She has more than 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and young adults, across a variety of settings, which has included; early intervention and disability services, primary and secondary schools, and private practice.
Vikki has developed a strong interest in the assessment of ADHD, executive function and learning differences. She works closely with children, adolescents and their families to support them, across multiple settings. Vikki also enjoys working with clients who present with: anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and autism.
In counselling sessions, Vikki works from a strength based approach and draws on evidence based techniques most suited to the individual and the issues presented. In her work she utilises and combines a range of therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness.
Vikki also has extensive experience and a passion in assessment work and psychometric testing and offers comprehensive cognitive, educational and developmental/behavioural assessments, which may lead to a diagnosis of a specific learning disorder (SLD), attention deficit, hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or autism. Vikki is well equipped in advocating and applying for students to receive additional supports within the educational system. She has also been involved in the Australian and New Zealand Standardization Projects for; Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence-Fourth Edition, WPPSI-IV, Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Fifth Edition, WISC-V and the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test-Third Edition (WIAT-III).
