Frequently Asked Questions
-
Osteopathy is a holistic healthcare approach that focuses on the body's interconnected systems to restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being. Our osteopathic care is tailored to your individual needs, using hands-on techniques such as joint mobilization, soft tissue therapy, and movement-based rehabilitation. By addressing the root cause of dysfunction rather than just the symptoms, osteopathy supports long-term health, helping you move and feel better in your daily life.
-
While both osteopathy and physiotherapy aim to improve movement and reduce pain, their approaches differ. Osteopathy takes a whole-body perspective, focusing on how the musculoskeletal, nervous, and circulatory systems work together, often using hands-on techniques to restore balance. Physiotherapy, on the other hand, often emphasises targeted rehabilitation through exercise and movement therapy. Both are effective, and the right choice depends on your needs, preferences and the clinician.
