Dr Nadia Bimpis

Provisional Psychologist

 

Nadia is a registered provisional psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Nadia has experience working with individuals across the lifespan presenting with anxiety, panic attacks, low mood, motivational challenges, relationship issues, post-traumatic stress, and sleep difficulties including insomnia.

Nadia aims to provide a warm, empathetic and safe environment for her clients to gain a more in-depth awareness and understanding of themselves and their life situation, while assisting them obtain strategies to more effectively cope with difficulties. Nadia has an interest in the connection between sleep and psychological well-being and implements sleep programs to assist clients improve their quality of sleep and psychological functioning.

Nadia uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches that are tailored to the clients’ individual needs, some of which are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Strengths Based Therapy and Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Nadia is bilingual, speaking English and Greek fluently and is keen to offer psychological support to people in the Greek community either in person or via telehealth.
