David is a compassionate and dedicated registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). He has a robust academic background, having successfully completed a Bachelor's and Honours degree in psychology at Deakin University, followed by a Master's degree in psychology at Monash University in 2020.

David's therapeutic philosophy revolves around creating a nurturing and accepting environment for his clients. His warm and non-judgmental approach ensures that individuals under his care feel truly heard, valued, and understood. David operates in a collaborative and creative manner with clients, jointly exploring and identifying alternative responses to life's challenges and developing new skills. A central focus of his work is fostering self-awareness and helping clients clarify their values, ultimately enabling them to uncover fresh opportunities and choices for living life authentically. To him, therapy is a sanctuary where individuals can embark on a journey of self-discovery in a safe, noncritical space. Here, they can develop strategies to pursue what truly matters to them.

David employs an integrative approach, drawing from a diverse range of evidence-based therapeutic frameworks. His toolkit includes Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness. This versatile approach allows him to tailor his strategies to each individual's unique needs and circumstances.

David's expertise spans across the entire lifespan, with a primary focus on adolescents and adults facing a wide array of mental health concerns. These concerns encompass, but are not limited to, mood and anxiety challenges, stress and adjustment issues, relationship difficulties, trauma, drug and alcohol-related addictions, self-compassion issues, challenges related to body image, as well as support for neurodivergent individuals. In every case, David strives to provide unwavering support and guidance to help his clients lead fulfilling lives.
