Antanita is a registered Clinical Psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Antanita has completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Science, Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology, Master of Psychology (Clinical), and Graduate Diploma in Autism Diagnosis. She has over ten years of clinical experience in supporting mental health needs of a wide range of clients from different age groups. Her work experience includes various mental health settings including forensic counselling service, autism specific organisation, private practice, tertiary education, and multi- and trans-disciplinary teams.
Antanita primarily practices from an attachment-based and trauma-informed lens. Her knowledge and skills incorporate several evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-focused therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and interpersonal therapy (IPT).
Antanita works collaboratively with clients and ensure to provide a safe and supportive space for self-exploration. She endeavours to use the client’s strengths and enhance their capability to address areas needing support for self-awareness and growth towards a better quality of life.
